False Dandelions: A Contemporary Crime Fiction Novel

Plot Teaser:  Roland pulls LaBrea out of the back seat then carelessly drops her to the ground where she groans in pain and slightly moves on a bed of wet leaves and fallen twigs. As instructed by Turtle, Roland yanks out the .44 Magnum from his waistband then aims it at LaBrea's head! Roland looks nervous. His hand shivers. He breathes hard then sighs...He can't do it. Unlike Turtle, Roland still has a heart. He tucks the gun under his waistband then hops back into the Escalade.

'FALSE DANDELIONS' PLOT POINTS: Ever since Turtle was twelve years old, he was somebody's little errand boy. Now grown up and running drugs on the seedy side of Washington DC, Turtle impulsively changes his life, promising never to be anybody's errand boy ever again...Turtle brings his sexy girlfriend Angie with him when he delivers a load of crystal meth to a dealer named Preacher...Preacher points out to Angie that she's hot and that she should come with him because Turtle is strictly small-time and going nowhere. Turtle decides to flee Washington with the money from the drug deal. This will be the first of many bad decisions Turtle will make as he tries to set up shop in a quiet rural town in Virginia.
